The Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute provides a collaborative environment to encourage cross-disciplinary study of brain functions. Their laboratories are equipped to handle everything from visualizations at a molecular level to massive data analysis of electrical activity in the brain.

As Principal Telecom Designer for the retrofit of the Helen Wills Neuroscience Center located in Barker Hall at the University of California Berkeley, RLS was responsible for the design of the information technology infrastructure supporting a local area network, telephone system, and an experimental parallel processor “super-computing” lab.
Working in close coordination with other members of the design team, RLS created a local area network and telephony cable plant infrastructure that supported campus standards and was integrated within the greater campus network.
