Strategy - A Methodology

Strategy is more than a goal statement, or objective. Strategy comprises a manageable plan of action that is designed to achieve a specified goal, for example ‘Start a Business to Sell Widgets so that we Make a Profit, at an Acceptable Risk.’ In this view, Strategic Planning is the development of the recommended course of action (RCA) that Strategic Management uses to reach the strategy’s objective.
