Alaska Airlines’ acquisition of Virgin America Airlines included the consolidation of operations at the various airports at which Alaska and Virgin America have facilities. As part of this consolidation, Alaska created new operational facilities within Terminal 2 of San Francisco International Airport and expanded a portion of the existing Virgin America Airlines operational offices. The new facilities include an Airport Ticketing Office (ATO), Baggage Service Office (BSO), ancillary spaces, and supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology infrastructure. The expansion also includes ten (10) new Virgin America office workstations and associated technology equipment.
