Established in 1927, the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is now one of the 30 busiest airports in the world. Every decade since its founding has seen extensive improvements and additions to meet the needs of the airlines and passengers. This work continues today, with technology integration playing a key role.

As part of the Boarding Area E expansion and improvements, United Airlines constructed a new Flight Operations Center. RLS provided an integrated technology, audiovisual, and structured cabling solution for this facility. Spaces included crew support areas such as luggage storage and sleeping areas, as well as functional areas such as training and conference rooms.
